Affiliate Disclosure

China Travel OS is free to use. To keep it that way, some outbound links are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a commission. You never pay more because of it.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link contains a small tracking tag. When you click it and later buy something from that provider, the provider pays us a percentage of the sale. The price you see is identical to the price you would pay by going directly to the provider.

Where we use them

  • eSIM plans for China (data-only travel eSIMs).
  • VPN subscriptions with China-capable obfuscation.
  • Transport and booking tools — rail resellers, airport transfers, travel insurance.

Affiliate links are marked in the interface ("Affiliate link") and carry rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines can see them too.

Our promise

  • Commissions never change the order of our recommendations. We lead with the setup step that saves you, not the one that pays us most.
  • We only recommend products we have tested or that come from providers with a clear refund policy.
  • If a service stops working in China, we remove it — even if it converts well.
  • Guides, tools and checklists are never paywalled.

Advertising

We also display display-advertising units in clearly labelled slots. Advertising partners may use cookies to measure impressions and to personalise ads depending on your region and consent choices. See our privacy policy for how to opt out.

Questions

If you would like to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, or you are a provider who wants to work with us, use the contact page.

FTC / EU compliance

In line with FTC guidance and EU consumer rules, material connections between us and any endorsed product are disclosed on the same page as the recommendation itself.
